Cleaning Out the Fridge - Dinner: Shrimp Cocktail

I found a half bag of shrimp and some ingredients to make homemade cocktail sauce. The sauce is so much better than what you can find already bottled in the store. It tastes fresh and has a healthy kick. The ingredients: tabasco, worchestershire sauce, chili sauce, horseradish, fresh lemon juice Mix all together and let sit. Defrosted peeled and deveined shrimp. Tail on. Bring a pot of water to boil. Add salt and lemon juice and lemon. Add shrimp. Cook until opaque and pink. It's only a couple of minutes. Drain and place in cold water bath to shock the shrimp. This stops the cooking and prevents it from becoming rubbery. Decorate and serve! Yum!
