A Day of Eating with the Family - Part 2: Lunch

At lunchtime, my sister was in the Sunset Park area again to buy some groceries. She offered to bring back some food for lunch. She stopped by Diamond on Eight for noodles and rice. She came back with a wide variety. Oh yeah, my sister knows how to eat. Barbecue Roast Pork over White Rice Chicken Ho Fun (flat rice noodles, wet style) Shanghai Stir Fried Vermicelli (shrimp, eggs, pickled veggies) My favorite is the Ho Fun. It's normally served with beef but I was feeling like having chicken that day. Also, you can either have it dry or wet. The dry style is stir fried which can be very oily. The wet style comes with a brown sauce. And they do it right with having the sauce and noodles packaged separately. In this way, the noodles do not get soggy. Food from here is always solid. Their dim sum, on the other hand, has been upsetting recently. At least their entree dishes and barbecue meats are still good.
