CSA #5: Zucchinni

Sometimes I just don't know what to make for dinner. So I go the simple root and just saute things with salt, pepper, and oil. A zucchini that's sliced up ready for a hot pan. Pork chops marinated with salt, pepper, oil, and sage. The pork chops go down on a very hot pan. But don't touch! Let that meat caramelize correctly. And it won't stick. Be patient. After a couple of minutes on one side, flip over and into the oven to finish. Ah, zucchini cooks so fast. Dinner is served. The pork chop could have been slightly juicier. My laziness hindered my brining skills. The zucchini was soft and fresh. Upper Meadows Farm 12 Pollara Lane Montague, NJ 07827 (973) 293-8171
