Noodles and Dumplings

I'm sick. I don't have much of an appetite. But I need to feed myself anyway because the medicine likes to burn a hole into my stomach lining. What's comforting and easy to make? Noodles with dumplings. I made myself a bowl of udon noodles with some fish balls and dumplings. It was bland because I couldn't taste much anyway.

  1. Hungry, how about eating juk when you're sick?

  2. @TC: I eat that all the time, sick or not. But when I am ill, I don't like standing in front of the stove for a long time stirring the congee to prevent it from sticking. I'd rather stick with an easy 15 minutes of cooking that doesn't need to be watched.

  3. Hope you feel better, Hungry!
I love juk to eat it even during the sweaty summers. I want the sampan congee with a cow's tongue pastry for lunch sometime this week. And am I not feeling sick. ;P

    Take Care!

  4. How are you feeling today? Hope the sun warms you up a bit as well. You can make juk with a pressure cooker. No mess and no wait. :)

  5. @Gar: Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I don't own a pressure cooker. However, if I did, I don't think I would be handling it while on medication. Too many mistakes can happen there, especially with me.
