While I waited though, I ordered a bloody mary. It was tangy and spicy, just the way I liked it. It came with a pickled okra too. Nice touch.

I ordered one of their more famous dishes: shrimp & grits ($12.50). This was the only grits that I've ever liked. It was well seasoned and the cheese was nice too. The shrimp and mushrooms were a little salty though. Thankfully there was lemon to cut the richness and saltiness of the dish. I really enjoyed it though (I can handle a lot of salt and still enjoy things).

Mr. Peanut Head ordered the Country breakfast which came with a biscuit, eggs (any style), and grits ($6). He opted for sausage too ($1.50). He said he liked this and was really difficult not to eat it all. However, he was full from the breakfast about an hour ago.

Dr. Mandoo ordered the Soup and house salad ($10). The soup was a cold creamy tomato soup served with some popcorn. The house salad were spring greens with ranch dressing.

The food was good here. I didn't try much (or any) of my friends' food because it was difficult to finish my own. But my dish was good (though salty). I also enjoyed the atmosphere and service. I would come back.
