My Trip to Bombay, India (Day 17): Almond Cake

One of the reasons why we traveled to India was because Mr. M&P's grandma was turning 100 years old soon! Woah! That's amazing. So they got this special cake made to celebrate her health and achievement. Here's to 100!

We also dined on some almond cake which was really good. I have to admit that I was really skeptical at first. It looked like a Chinese type cake to me which I dislike. And I haven't had much luck on Indian sweets/desserts during my travels. But this was actually good! I was happily proved wrong. The cake was light, and slightly creamy. However, the kicker were the almond crunchies insides. It totally made the texture. I took a second piece.
