Queens Food Tour: Flushing Mall (Part 2)

After we finished downstairs in the basement food court, we headed upstairs for some dumplings. The Feisty Foodie was very ecstatic about this place since she had it before.

So we shared one plate (12) of dumplings filled with pork, chives, and cabbage. I think the woman gave us a very strange look since we were only ordering one plate for our large group. But we were full from the previous food.

But that didn't stop us from finishing these thick skinned dumplings off. I think the general consensus was that it was very mediocre. The wrapper was too thick and the filling seemed bland. The accompanying hot sauce was a must.
I think Yvo was disappointed that her experience wasn't the same. The rest of the group felt the same. We wanted it to be good but it just didn't follow through. Oh well, there are better dumplings to be had in Flushing, Queens.
