My Trip to Melbourne, Australia (Day 4): Maxim's

After our meal, we decided to talk the walking version of the neighborhood bus tour. Yes, we were going to walk along the touristy bus route so that we may stop and rest as we please. Also we wanted to burn off some of our lunch and make room for more food later on. So while walking through Chinatown we came across Maxim's Cakes. Woah? Is this the same Maxim's we came to enjoy in Hong Kong? We went in to check it out.

Although the worker inside said they had no relation to the Hong Kong chain, it was still a Chinese bakery so we bought one roast pork bun to share.
Thank goodness we only purchased one as this was the saddest bun we have ever eaten. Look at that measly filling. I mean, I really think there was only 1 piece of pork in there. No sauce, no onions, and the bread was also not very good. Dry and tasteless. This was one of the few times in my life that I've ever thrown something out because it didn't taste good. Not because it was spoiled. Avoid.
