Tuesday Nights: Seoul Garden

Towards the end of  one year, my friends thought that we weren't hanging out enough. It's true, we weren't. So they started Tuesday night get-togethers. Every Tuesday, we'll pick a bar to drink, eat, and hang out for a couple of hours. Whoever can make it will attend. If you're busy, it's okay. There's always next week. So this is Tuesday Nights on Tasty Eating where you will find bars that serve food and how we like them.

On this recent Tuesday Night, we headed out to: Seoul Garden
We've been on an Asian kick lately for Tuesday Nights. This time, we hit up Seoul Garden in K-Town. After looking through the massive menu, I picked sundubu jjigae (spicy seafood tofu soup) that comes piping hot in a casserole bowl. Quickly crack a raw egg once you receive it to add creaminess and richness to your dish.
Along with my spicy tofu, I also had a side of galbi (marinated beef short ribs) with rice. Both of these dishes together is only $18. It was a great deal. It certainly filled me up and made me very happy.
And the usual banchan (small plates) graced the tables. We snacked on the broccoli, mushrooms, bean sprouts, kimchi, cucumbers, and fried fish.
Although Seoul Garden isn't the best Korean food you'll find on the street, it's easy for larger groups with no wait. And definitely affordable.
